Decatur, AL — Calhoun Flag Football competed in four games over the weekend, splitting a doubleheader at Snead State on Thursday, October 2, before posting two dominant wins Sunday, October 5, in Millbrook.

Defensively, Reiley Williamson had six tackles and returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown.
On Sunday in Millbrook, Calhoun bounced back with a 32‑6 win over Bishop. Windy conditions forced the team to rely on short passes with limited reliability on deep throws. Madison Allen returned to the lineup with two touchdowns inside the 10-yard line, and Williamson added two rushing scores. Roberson completed 16 of 30 passes for 188 yards and rushed for another 42. The defense allowed just one late touchdown, recording 20 tackles and three sacks.
The Warhawks closed the weekend with a 12‑0 win over Lurleen B. Wallace. After a scoreless first half, Calhoun put together a big second-half drive, including a 48-yard completion from Haynes that set up a 1-yard touchdown run by Kaitlyn Lane, followed by a 4-yard scamper from Roberson. The team ran for 60 yards in total, with Roberson accounting for half, and completed 10 of 19 passes. Haynes added 56 receiving yards, while punter Paige Casterjon averaged 30 yards on five punts. On defense, Haynes and Ja'kara Clark recorded six tackles each, and Roberson and Allen both picked off passes.
Head Coach Bart Stephenson praised the team's effort: "I'm proud of how our players responded this weekend. We faced tough competition, but the energy, execution, and commitment across all four games really showed what this team is capable of. We're building momentum heading into our next match."
Calhoun improves to 7‑3 overall and will return home Sunday, October 12, to host Northwest Shoals with games scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
