Bio

Rod Byrd is from Tanner, AL, where he graduated from Tanner High School. He excelled in football, basketball, and track under Coach LaRon White and Chris Whitt. An Exercise Science major at Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, AL, Rod competed in D1 football. Byrd owns Super Elite Performance in Tanner, AL, where he is a personal trainer and sports performance coach for all sports. He trains youth, high school, and professional athletes.

He is the son of Willie and Mary Byrd and has two sisters, LaKendra Yarbrough and Candace Byrd.
