Bio
Denton Bowling announced the addition of Mallie Yarbrough as an Assistant Softball Coach in Fall 2025. Yarbrough brings a wealth of competitive experience, a track record of team success, and a strong academic foundation to the Calhoun program.
Before returning to Calhoun as a coach, Yarbrough excelled as a student-athlete at Calhoun Community College, where she played two seasons as a softball student-athlete and made an immediate impact on the field. She also distinguished herself at Hatton High School as a two-sport athlete, helping guide the Hornets to the Class 2A Softball State Championship in 2023 and a State Runner-Up finish in 2019.
A native of Hatton, Alabama, Yarbrough graduated as salutatorian of her high school class, earned her associate's degree from Calhoun in 2025, and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).
