Johnson Named NJCAA All-American
CHARLOTTE, NC - Calhoun sophomore guard Jordan Johnson has been named NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention, recognizing a standout season that helped lead the Warhawks throughout the 2025–2026 campaign.
A Decatur native and graduate of Austin High School, Johnson emerged as one of the most dynamic players in junior college during his lone season at Calhoun. Over 31 games, the sophomore averaged 17 points per game while serving as the centerpiece of the Warhawks' offense.
Johnson's scoring ability was paired with elite efficiency from beyond the arc. He finished the season shooting 45 percent from three-point range and 78 percent from the free throw line, while also nearly doubling his assist average from the previous year.
Before arriving at Calhoun, Johnson spent his freshman season at Georgia Highlands College where he averaged 9.5 points per game while shooting 34 percent from three-point range and 62 percent from the free throw line. His sophomore campaign with the Warhawks showed tremendous development in both scoring production and overall offensive impact.
Throughout the season, Johnson consistently delivered in big moments. He recorded 13 games with 20 or more points and added several double-double performances while contributing across the stat sheet. In a December meeting with Itawamba, Johnson recorded a 23-point, 11-rebound, 10-steal triple double, showcasing his ability to impact the game in all aspects.
His playmaking, scoring efficiency, and leadership on the floor made him one of the most difficult players for opponents to contain throughout the season.
Johnson's breakout season has also drawn significant attention at the next level, with multiple NCAA programs extending scholarship offers as he prepares for the next stage of his basketball career.
Johnson's All-American honor marks a major milestone for the Calhoun men's basketball program, as he becomes the first Warhawk to achieve the honor in the modern era, and reflects the impact he made during his time in a Calhoun uniform.
