Softball Earns #5 Seed at ACCC Tournament
MONTGOMERY, AL - The Alabama Community College Conference has released the seeding for the 2026 Division I softball conference tournament, with Calhoun earning the No. 5 seed in the six team field. The ACCC Tournament is hosted at Veterans Park in Alabaster, AL and is set to begin May 14-16.
The Warhawks are making their second straight appearance in the ACCC post-season Tournament in Alabaster, coming in with a record of 17-15 in conference play. Calhoun will take on No. 4 seed Gadsden State in the first round on Thursday at 12:00 p.m., looking to avenge an April series sweep by Gadsden while the Warhawks were short-handed.
Calhoun enters the field alongside No. 1 seed Northeast Alabama, No. 2 seed Wallace State, No. 3 seed Shelton State, No. 4 seed Gadsden State, and No. 6 seed Coastal Alabama South.
A round one win for the Warhawks would set a meeting on Thursday afternoon with No. 1 seed Northeast Alabama.
